It’s one of the best subscriptions I have invested in and I would highly recommend it for any small business owner who wants to make their operations easier. They allow you to fully digitize your receipts and invoices, so you can throw away all the folders full of old receipts you had lying around. This is actually a much stronger audit trail, as once digitized, it’s faster and easier to search for old supplier invoices. Paper is easily lost, but your digital records will be stored on both your cloud based accounting software and in your OCR software, making this a more secure way to store financial records. OCR (optical character recognition) software have been a real game changer for the small business accounting world.

I’m really not sure why Xero bought this company and then failed to invest in the technology, as it is only making the whole process of using Xero more difficult. I am truly being overly generous with this 2 star review when in truth it more like ZERO stars. It’s useless.Not overly enamoured with Xero – but this piece of crap makes it all the simpler to try and get rid. As it is owned by the same company – I can see why.Please don’t waste your time or efforts on what is a floored accounting “package”. As for Xero – that needs some serious investment in all the little flaws – but hubdoc reviews they continue to spend on ads first to keep attracting new users to replace those that are not happy with their service. If you’re looking to automate categorization of expenses and help avoid human error, this is a good option. It takes a bit of dialing in at the onset but afterwards can be set to work very well on its own. Splitting invoices and other customizations was helpful in cases of large complicated invoices.
